World Arabian Horses Championship 2005

Official Blancpain Prize
awarded at the
World Arabian Horses Championship 2005

Inspired by a shared love of beauty and the tireless pursuit of perfection, Blancpain was partnering the World Arabian Horses Championship held in Paris (France), from December 9th to 11th 2005.

In awarding the Official Blancpain Prize to the owner whose horse earns the highest marks in various trials, the world’s oldest watchmaking brand celebrates a discipline that combines beauty with elegance, qualities that also distinguish fine luxury watchmaking.

The Official Blancpain Prize rewards an exceptional purebred Arabian horse and highlights the constant search for perfection and the philosophy of excellence binding the equestrian world to that of the Manufacture in Le Brassus.

Blancpain presented Mr Jerzy Bialobok, director of the Polish Stadnina Koni-Michalow Breed and lucky owner of Emandoria, a grey mare yearling filly, with an 18-carat red-gold full-calendar “Hunter” watch, featuring a 100-hour power reserve, a blue dial and gold applied facetted hour-markers.

Through its natural distinction and remarkable performances, this self-winding double-hunter timepiece, specially engraved for the occasion, reflects the historical values of respect for authenticity and meticulous attention to detail which the Manufacture Blancpain shares with the world of thoroughbred horse-breeders.

The grey mare Emandoria, winner of the Prix Blancpain delivered by Blancpain’s Alain Delamuraz to Jerzy Bialobok, in company of Christian Patria (director of Salon du Cheval), Mariusz Liskiewicz and Arnaud Blandin, Blancpain France (on the left).
